These terms cover your use of the More Mahjong app and this website. By installing or using the app, you agree to them.
The app
More Mahjong is a game. It is licensed to you, not sold, for personal non-commercial use on devices you own or control. That license is granted through Apple and is also subject to Apple's own Media Services Terms and Conditions, including its Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
No wagering, no real-world stakes
More Mahjong is a game of skill played for entertainment. There is no wagering, no betting, no cash prize, and nothing of monetary value to be won or lost. Points and settlements shown at the table are part of the game's scoring and have no value outside it, and cannot be exchanged, transferred, or cashed out. Every table in the app plays for bragging rights only.
Purchases
The app is free to download and play. Some features are unlocked by a single one-time in-app purchase. Purchases are processed by Apple; billing, refunds, and restoring a purchase are handled under Apple's terms, through your Apple Account.
Your page and what you post
Your name, @handle, bio, photo and table names are seen by other players and, on your page, by anyone on the web. You are responsible for them. There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users: no harassment, hate, threats, sexual content, impersonation, spam, or anything illegal. Names and words that break these terms are refused by the app, and pages that break them are taken down — and their owners removed — without notice.
Reporting and blocking
Every page in the app has Report and Block in its “…” menu, and every page on the web has a Report link. We review every report within 24 hours and remove content that breaks these terms. Blocking someone removes them from your people, stops their invites, and hides them from you everywhere.
Online play and conduct
Online play uses Apple’s Game Center and iCloud. Please behave decently at a shared table: no harassment, no impersonation, and no attempts to disrupt, cheat, or interfere with other players’ games. Access to online play and to pages may be withdrawn where it is being abused.
Deleting your page
You can delete your page and the data you wrote at any time: Settings, then Delete my page and data. The privacy policy says exactly what that removes.
Rules and styles
Mahjong is a living family of games and house rules differ from table to table. The app implements a specific, documented interpretation of each style. Where a choice had to be made between competing house rules, one was chosen and recorded. Nothing here claims to be the single authoritative version of any regional game.
Intellectual property
The app's code, artwork, written content, and the More Mahjong name and bird mark belong to their owner and may not be copied or redistributed without permission.
No warranty
The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. It is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted or error-free.
Changes
These terms may be updated. The date above will change when they are, and the current version will always be published here.
